Tukga-Hut History
The Tukga Hut is the result of an over 10-year process of deliberation, community input, planning, permitting, and construction. Throughout the building process, we had around 100 volunteers complete an astounding 300 volunteer days, many of which involved hiking 3200′ with power tools, materials, and camping gear, in every weather system imaginable. This project would have in no way been possible without this tremendous volunteer support, accompanied by generous donations from a plethora of local businesses and community members.Â
